Melissa Doffing, Anika Fajardo, and Susan Koefod live and write in the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul. They have traveled widely and written in various mediums. They all enjoy crêpes.
 
Melissa Doffing has a Masters in English Literature and has published critical essays in BMa: The Sonia Sanchez Literary Review, creative essays in A Woman is a Woman is a Woman (Houghton Mifflin) and in Savvy Women's Magazine. She has presented at several academic conferences and contributes book reviews to Womenwriters.net. She has held various positions as a writer in the business world, taught composition and literature courses at the college level. She is working on a novel that explores the intersection of birth and death.
 
 
Crêpe sucre is her favorite---best served by street vendors near the Jardin du Luxembourg in Paris.

Anika Fajardo, a writer and librarian, was born in Colombia and raised in Minnesota. She is working on a collection of stories and keeps a blog, Jot: Short Thoughts about Food. She regularly contributes book reviews to Library Journal and has had essays and short pieces published in a variety of venues including The Talking Stick, Frostwriting, apt, Savvy Women's Magazine, and the Wisconsin Historical Society Press. She is a winner of the Loft's 2009 Latino Inroads Program and a 2009-2010 winner of the Loft Mentor Series in creative nonfiction.

Susan Koefod holds an M.F.A. in Writing from Hamline University, St. Paul, Minnesota. Publishing credits include essays and poems, most recently in Literary Bohemian, The Talking Stick, Minnetonka Review, Midway Journal, and anthologies such as June Cotner’s Miracles of Motherhood and the forthcoming Dog Blessings: Poems, Prose, and Prayers Celebrating Our Relationship with Dogs. Her current project, a mystery novel, examines the underside of society's norms.
